About the role

We are seeking a highly engaged, motivated and driven Senior Project Manager. The purpose of this role is to deliver telecommunications delivery projects to the highest standards, with exceptional customer service, organisation, and drive to our mid-market customers (50-1000 seat businesses).

Purpose

A unique opportunity exists for an experienced and qualified Senior Project Manager to closely work our internal sales teams, account managers and customers in the delivery of complex telecommunications products and services, such as Phone Systems, Contact Centre, IaaS, Firewalls, Data Networks (MPLS and SD-WAN) and Voice.

Customer on-boarding is a critical aspect of customer satisfaction and longevity and this role has responsibility for ensuring sales success leads to projects being delivered on-time, on budget and to the highest standards of customer experience and customer success.

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of complex, telecommunications delivery projects.
  • Ensure clear and detailed scope of works is developed for all projects.
  • Gain internal and external sign offs.
  • Coordinate and manage customer expectations through the life of projects.
  • Provide all necessary support (i.e. to identify, report and mitigate risks) in the delivery of customer projects.
  • Collaboratively engage with multiple internal teams to coordinate the install, configuration, and completion of projects.
  • Enforce the agreed disciplines/standards and ensure compliance with the appropriate processes and procedures of the broader team; constructively challenging these where continuous improvement opportunities exist.
  • Maintain clear and detailed documentation for handover to our internal account management and support teams post project delivery.

Position Capabilities

  • Project management experience in a similar role (High).
  • Organisation and time management skills (High).
  • Technical knowledge and expertise across a varied range of new and old telecommunications technologies (High).
  • Experience in pre-sales, customer engagement, sales (Essential).

Experience and Skills

  • Broad experience with telecommunications products and services (Essential).
  • Project management experience and qualifications (Essential).
  • Broad experience in telecommunications management, planning, deployment (Essential).
  • Demonstrable outside the box thinking and problem solving (Essential).
